just curious if anyone knows how to apply a fade out in the last sequence of a song. i assume it would be through "effects" mode, but i'm not quite sure how to do it. it would be nice to have different variations for the way my songs end rather than them just stopping. holler back if you have any advice. thanks!

hahahah

i know a way but is some complicated to tell u, u would not think its worth it.
so i suggest instead of playing all through your mpc, transferred mixed tracks to your pc, use a program like soundforge then just highlight the end of the track and apply the fade out option. voila it fades at the end.
to do it on the mpc is LOOOONNNNG!

thanks for the advice. i appreciate it. unfortunately i don't have a computer to work with at this time so i'm limited right now in terms of what i can do. would i be able to do it through garageband? my friend has that on his computer and he'd probably let me use it.

you do fades when mastering your track. not on the mpc. wether u send it to a hardware recorder, pc prog you do the fades there.

Quickest and easiest way to fade out is to do it by hand with the volume knob on the mpc.

take the fuse out of the power supply and then jam a few staples in there.

might work?

you could resample the last sequence back thru the MPC while manually turning the volume down gradually.... then delete the last sequence and replace it with your new resampled sequence... easy to do and quick... pretty effective.. might possibly need a RAM upgrade on ya MPC depending on how much you got going on there already.
