since you want to start in on me, even though i want time/zone as bad everyone else on my 1k, this is why it's not gonna happen,
first off if they can never up the 32 mb max on the big ass 2000xl box, why would they do any major upgrades on the dinky 1k, second keeping the status quo for the 1k and 2kxl pushes more people to save there cash and get the 4k, key elements are missing from the 1k and 2kxl that the 4k combines and then some, this just means more money for the corp, and all that sh*t talk about some magical time/zone os did you ever stop to think that the akai people spread it so people hesitant to buy the 1k would have hope and committ to getting it, but when they realize its never gonna happen they will have to get the 2kxl or 4k, but the money has already been made for the corp, im not TRYIN to do anything, i stated fact (albeit old not new) and opinion, point the finger at the man who's TRYIN to spread lies.

The VP's are dope! Timestretching and phrasing are all done in realtime, so there's no guess work or equations....you just adjust the knobs until it loops right or is the pitch you want. You can transpose any sample over all the keys on your midi keyboard without the sample speeding up as the pitch gets higher. From what I can tell, the MV8000 has a VP built in, kinda like how the MPC 4k has the z4/8 built in.....I didn't know that. Not that I need it, though, I can get a sample right in the VP, then record it into the 1k if I wanna work that way. I swear by um!

Oh, that ain't minez, but it is a glitch in the 1st run of Japanese systems. U see, while you are playing a game, if you twist the system juuuuuuust right, you can get the UMD to fly out like a ninja star! This is just an real example of that fabled phenomenom.
