TeeDubya, I know i have been not that patient with you, but....
Visit a store like TurnKey, have a look around, fiddle with the toys they have get quotes and see if u can get a deals as well, ask questions also about what works good with what. Also find out what leads, connections, midi keyboards, stuff like that..
Pro Music Gear go to a Pro Music Store.
Dj Gear go to a Dj shop.
Computer gear go to a Computer store. cause u get better deals in specialised stores. (most times)
i can see you now racking your brain trying to put your shopping list together making sure u dont buy the wrong thing....
"...shit i'm gonna need a turntable to sample, damn that means i gonna need a mixer, damn i want to do vocals, gonna need a mic, but where am i going to connect it too.!!" blah blah blah it goes on for ever.
If you know a friend who has a studio (big or small) visit them and get a feel for whats right for you and so on...
I thought i say that to you to help relax your stressful time trying to put everything together.
also cause u r buying a mpc1000 does not mean all your question should be posted in the mpc1000 forum. (i might be wrong about this for u could have posted elsewhere)
relax my man...its all good.
