MIDI AND KORG TRINITY HELP!

hi i just bought a mpc 1000 and i read threw the manual and i set up my korg trinity to the mpc the way the manual says...i turned local off...i chose the midi channel on the mpc's sequencer...i hit record and started playing my trinity over a beat i had just made and for some reason i the program on the trinity changes from lets same program number 5 to program 0---everytime i want to record midi over a beat it does this...but it doesnt do this if i use the mpc pads to control the trinity sounds....I WANT TO BE ABLE TO USE THE TRINITY KEYS TO PLAY THE SOUNDS I WANT TO BE RECORDED AS MIDI ON THE MPC----i want to sequence my trinity's midi with my mpc beats so badly please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try setting the RECIEVE PROGRAM CONTROL CHANGES to OFF in the Trinity. Don't ask me how to do that because I don't own a Trinity. I am speaking in general midi terms here.

ok i turned off local control of and the program changes thing and i changed the clock to internal and now it works perfectly fine !!!! hey thanks for the advice yo it really helped alot!now its not canging my programs at all---PEACE
