asr resampling?

Can someone with a yamaha mixer explain how i can set up my asr-10, so that I can resample through the mixers eq back into the asr.

I have a yamaha mg16t/4...right now, I've got the asr's main outputs connected into two of the mixer's inputs, and I have one cable outputing from the mixers group 1 out to the asr's right input.

I'm tryin to play a snare on the asr, and have it cut the highs through the mixer, and then sample back into the asr as another instrument. Yet, whenever i try to do this i either get a really weak signal or a lot of feedback...any help would be greatly appreciated...

there's some asr-10 heads over prod techniques and mpc studio enviroments
so try lookin over there.

My boyfriend had an asr earlier, I'll check with him for you!

if there is a monitor option on the asr, turn it off.
