no, I agree with penfold... This forum is a pretty friendly one as far as I have seen. To come in here with a shitty attitude demanding help for something is just wrong. Think about that: You want help with something and you give the person shit who is trying to help you. WTF is that? There are a lot of great posters here who will go out of their way to help you. Why are they going to bother if people are dicks about asking for help? There are plenty of other forums out there....

Actually homes didn't try to bite the hand that feeds him. He was responding to a smart ass comment, which followed by more smart ass comments. No one tried to help him with his problem until like 4 or 5 posts later. He didn't respond to smartassedness in the most mature way, but it was hella funny.

This is a great forum and the people here are generally very helpful, and this is a great place to network as well. I don't see how having a little bit of fun around here is such a bad thing. I mean when your hanging out with friends...isn't it fun to crack on each other and ish...it's fun man. This is a forum not some stuffy boardroom. I think dudes should learn to relax and not be so damn serious all the time and try to play daddy on the boards. We already got moderators.

i agree fun must be had

but the original point was not smartass, it was valid - this question had absolutely no place in the mpc1000 section of MPC forums.

fun must be had. i'll die the day i have to stop being a smartass, but this was simply the wrong board.

That's true it was the wrong forum, maybe the newbie forum or studio environments..hell ...even off-topic would have been a much better choice, but regardless I thought this shit was funny, and I'm all for a lil fun on the boards.

Mix Tape

First off, you will have to gather all you tracks together sound FX and all that.
Open up a new window in SF and use the paste special mix so you can mix the volumes of the in coming track with the one that’s playing edit all your tracks together with sound Fx and ish this will give you 1 very long mix.
Do your voice over next then you can use CD Architect (part of SF) to put your marker points in easy isn’t it …………… now you can burn your ish out 1. mix tape

By the way this forum is about MPC’s not SF

Responding about stabbing someone with a knife should be a perm ban.

"some good ball busting once in awhile is good fun."

Right, and they said they same thing 2 days before Columbine. It may look funny, but from someone that works very closely with disturbed people, it is a cry for help. Many of us put up harmless defenses, such as snobbery (like myself), or occasional name-calling around the boards. But it is pretty disturbing to see someone's first reaction be so threatening and graphical that it would make Freddy Kreuger jump back a couple steps.

If there was a way for me to contact a family member and let them know help is needed, I would.

when you say you work closely with disturbed individuals, do you mean as a profession or when you record gangster rappers?

seriously, i would like to know. i am interested in people with mental disabilities and conditions. i volunteered with a special education program for years and really loved it.

thanks

alot of times when you ask a question on here you get a smart ass remark from someone else

no awnser

just snide comments

so it pissed him off

hes like

quit wasting my time ****

its how I feel when I ask a question and someone tries to instantly shut it down

I guess it comes with the message board territory
