Software effects - does mpc1000 play them?

If I edit my samples for example in Audacity or Soundforge and add some effects (other than I get from the mpc1k itself) to my sample, then transfer the sample to mpc1k, will the effects be heard. As long as it´s wav, does mpc1k play everything that is included in the sample. OR can I only add effects to my sample after it´s "left" from mpc. I mean hooking mpc to (software or hardware) effectbox and then playing the samples through it.
