Akai Sample CD format to MPC 1000

Hello All,

I was wondering if there is a way to make MPC 1000 programs out of Akai sample cd format CD's? I am using a program called cdxtract to make battery kits however I would like to make MPC 1000 kits. Does anyone know how to accomplish this. I am getting tired of making program using MPC187. I have to manually do this and there are just to many programs.

You can check, MPC1000 Program Creator, you can open akai .pgm with this application. You can found it in http://www.mpc1000.com/ . I think this work only on PC as the 187 works on Mac.

I would like to batch 1000 wav files to make mpc 1000 pgm. I an loading 64 samples at a time but this is taking me forever. DOes anyone know if there is a program that I can do this PC or OS X? I have been looking for a comman line mpc 1000 pgm maker so I can write a batch program to do this for me.

no sure if it is what you are looking for but bluebox has a bulk load feature so you can quicly load 64 samples at a time.

Awave is $149. Too much just to make pgm's. Blue Box feature of bulking is ok but when you have 1000 wav files it makes it a little time consuming to make pgm's. I also have a bunch on sample cd's in which I would like to make pgms for the mpc 1000.
