Have you ever chopped the ish out of a sample, then extracted it and put it in your program and try to use it only to find out it's the same as what you just were cutting it from? This has happend to me a few times and it pisses the hell out of me.

Like...you have a sample, and chop it to how you want it...either in trim mode or loop mode (maybe that's where I mess ish up) but anyway...I have it how I want it, then extract it, then name it, then I tried to use it, but somehow it went back to the original full length of what I chopped it to...it's friggin weird. you understand.

-Sample 1 I extract a piece of and name Sample 2
-Then I go back to my sequence after adding the Sample 2 to my program and it plays the sound of Sample 1...like I said, weird ish.

I know exactly what you are talking about. This happend to me a few times and was driving me crazy. It's because you are setting the selection on the loop and it isn't changing the selection on trim mode.

If that were the case then wouldnt it only affect that original sample not the one I extracted? This is some weird stuff and it keeps bugging me...in the sample that I extracted, the loop side has a piece highlighted and the trim page does not, yet they both play the same thing.
