I have all the samples layed out in bank A. When I trigger them they sound as the correct sample but on the loop playback all the triggers are one sound...I mean I like snare drum and all but No one is gonna go home from a show humming SNR hits..

What the hell is going on here...I know all the samples are the right format because i tracked them myself...what am I missing?

cause u have not read the manual you are getting your self into a huff for nothing. in TRIM mode, where u can only use this LOOP PLATBACK feature u can scroll the dial to select each sample u want. U no longer get pad access to each sample. only when u come out of trim mode. look at the pads and see the other features u have in TRIM MODE then thnk about it.

feel a bit silly now in it? ...and before u say u can select samples the sample name has to be highlighted. . .

When I am refering to Loop playback i mean while on the main window with the MPC1000 recording. After the intial pass of say 8 bars (when the MPC goes into Overdub) only one sample is triggered and that sample is representing all the other pads I triggered. In this instance its the sample from A01.

Visual representation: Say i did a kick=K and a Snare=S

what should Sound like this K S S K= 4beats windes up sounding like S S S S

THis is the same for all the other samples I.e. Bass, Leads, everything...

all that i get is SNR drum holding the place of every pad i Sequence.

Its very frustrating Im well aware the way trim mode opperates
Thanks for the talk down... and Im sorry I didnt explain myself effectivly

Whats wierd is that the original refrence samples that I loaded up play on Intial contact but not in sequence form. Im going to recreate the program to figure out if its the sound files or what

i have this problem sometimes, esp with pgms made from bluebox.

go into program and then note, and set em all from lowest at the bottom left to highest at the top right. that will take care of it. there is probably an easier solution but so far i don't konw it.

anyone know what i'm talkin about and want to tell me a quick trick? what i am doing wrong in bluebox?

have you set the midi value for all the pads to the exact same note?

antonym -> in program / note screen -> "reset" does not fix the problem ?
or in BlueBox -> tools / -> "make pads chromatics" ?

yep. i had to RESET the midi from PGM mode to get Ant's download PRMGs to work....
