I know there's plently of posts regarding memory, and I'm not trying to waste anyone's time with this one. I'm mainly wondering if one form of memory, i.e ram vs. CF is more important than the other. For example, my original 32mb CF is full, only took a minute, and I'm wondering if I just get a 1g CF if I can still keep working without the RAM upgrade until I get one. I feel like with the expanded CF I can at least continue working without having both forms of memory beefed.?

i have a 1GB CF and haven't upgraded the RAM [yet]... i'm not having any issues.. but i'm a newbie so maybe a vet could advise if there are any issues... i'm thinking that you'll need more RAM to accomodate the use of more samples... hope this helps...

you really dont't need the 128 mem exp when you 1st start, but its good to have. I like to load a lot of accapellas some time and they are memory hogs. But having at least 256CF card is essental. You will want to save and acrive your songs. You can always dump them to CPU, but I like having all mine on my card, plus you want to have a lot of samples to be able to have on your card. But after 6 months as your skill progress you will def want that 128mb of memory

Good lookin, both of you have good points, so I figure I'll be alright with a larger CF for the time being.
