help putting the beat on the computer

im having trouble putting the beat on the computer because everytime i put the ubs cord in and look for it under the E drive folder i dont see the beat i saved. i see the program that its in put then yet i cant open that to take the song out because i guess its not in wave. if someone can give me a detailed way how to put my beats on the cpu via usb i will appreciate it thanks. tell me if i need program or if i have to save it a certain way or wat thanks.

It sounds like you're just trying to open the mpc file on your computer.

You need to re-sample your whole beat on the 1k, then you should be able to transfer it to your computer as a wav file.

I may be wrong, but I think page 50 in the manual will show you how to resample your beat inside the 1k.
