Stop playing when releasing pad?

Yo Im sure this is in the manual somewher but I cant finde it is there a way that the sample only plays as long as I press the pad or do i need to use mute group and an othe pad to kill it?

hit mode then program move cursor under the sample name and hit the window key, now turn the jog wheel so it says note on, and not one shot I believe and you should be set.
