Since the MicroKORG can only play one program at once via MIDI, what's the best way to record multiple patches into the 1K? I know that I can add more than one MicroKORG patch into the MPC by sampling the audio while the MP's sequence plays.

Is there a way to make sure that the recording is triggered at the same time as sequence playback to ensure that the tracks line up when I assign the MicroKORG sample to a pad?

Thanks.

you can either set it recording, then start the sequence and trim it after, or put the recording threshhold down to the lowest possible, and when you press play it will start recording automatically. Depending on the occasion, I do both.

I was thinking that was the best way also. I'm grabbing a MicroKORG at the end of the week so I haven't been able to experiment. How's the threshhold method? It sounds like the easiest way, but is the recording triggering absolutely precise?
