I hope it's OS related and something is done about it.

I've noticed that I only get this problem when I layer sounds. It's simple, once your finished layering, EQing, compressing, and applying effects to your sounds, resample them. When you do this you will always hear the same sound the same way you resampled it.

Since I got my 1k I haven't been layering because how easy it is to get phasing issues on the machine. I get this wth absolutely no layering.

If you get phasing on playback if you're playing fills and rolls and stuff over a sequence, particularly using note repeat, it's probably cause you are triggering a sample that's also being triggered by the sequence.

Strange...you should probably contact Akai.

The phasing isn't when I do the rols and such...the note stealing is what happens. Other samples disappear.

If it keeps up, or gets worse, I will contact probably VST. I made a beat last night and had none of these issues. It's just weird. I dunno, anyone think it may have to do with power? Maybe a really good power bar like a monster power might help. I already got my gear plugged into computer power bars though. I dunno....just a thought.
