flash card problems

I put my flash card in the slot and turned on my mpc and the mpc was frozen,Anyone have this problem? I tried another card and everything was cool but the other card everytime it was in it made the mpc freeze up. Is it the card?

I never had that problem. I would make sure that the specification on t he one taht is giving you trouble is withen specification of the MPC1000. More importantly let us know the model and make so none of us buy that particular one, good luck.

I had that crap happen to me less than 3 weeks ago. It was a problem with my freaking scandisk 512mb CF card. I think your card's kurupt, mine sure as he3ll waz and it sucks...I feel for ya homey sorry but i think that's the prob

Ya it was the same brand the scandisk!!

I am in the market to buy a new CF card, probable a 1-2 gig. I guess I will not go with scan disk. And to think a guy at Akia recommended that brand to me, uh go figure. Thanks for the info guys. I will go with a delkin they makes cf card specially for MP3, Wave, and professional audio. I have one already and never had any problems. So I guess I will stick with what I know. A little on the expensive side but it worth it to me.
