For me it's better to use a DI with the MPC - to get a balanced signal.

Many pro engineers do it that way - and some don't.


For me it definitely makes a difference in sound - if it's used right.

And always remember - most of the times there is no right or wrong - it's just about what works.

And obviously - it seems that my suggestion helped him - sooo....

I NOTICE WHEN RECORDING MPC TO LOGIC VIA DIGITAL OUTPUT THAT IT DEGRADES SLIGHTLY. THIS IS VIA A DELTA 66- SURELY THAT SHOULD'NT HAPPEN?

define degrades.


what have you set the output volume to in the other screen? try increasing/decreasing.
