When I load a usb sample into the mpc1000 I can't figure out how to delete them. The manual refers to deleting samples as begining in the trim section and pressing the f2 (delete key), however when I pull up my trim menu trim and loop are my only options and the samples in this trim mode don't corrispond with those in the load menu?
A: why don't these match up, and how do I assign these to pads?
B:How do I delete samples in the load menu?
C: why is the mpc 1000 so user unfrriendly!!!

its all in the book, u just need to not skip anymore pages. how to use the purge is simple, take the sample out of the program witch u assign it to in the program menu, select purge and itll tell u how many samples u have that are unused, the samples withn a program will not be deleted, the samples outside of a program will be deleted so continue on with the purge and hit do it and boom any unused samples will be bye bye. u can even delete a program that u dont want but when the program is deleted it leaves behind all the samples that was in it that way u can still use em with other programs but if ur not using them use the purge agin and itll delete them, in ur user manual look into how purge works. has better explaination for it

you have to use the cursor keys and select the name at the top of the sample edit page, like kickdrum1 or whatever, then hit window and press delete.

badabing badaboom.
