mpc 1k and sonar4

i just bought a mpc 1k and i realy want to use it as a sound module for my drums i live the feel and features of the mpc for those who say i dont need the mpc if im using a computer but the main point of this post is to see if any one else uses the 1k and sonar together because i cannot get the 1k to sync as slave to sonar its driving me crazy i have sonar 4 a tascam FW1082 (where my midi goes in) and a motif using usb midi connection. i have set the midi outs and in correct but my mpc tempo never goes to (EXT) if any one has got this to work or knows how please help me out

yo, i don't use sonar, i use nuendo. i have a video (look at my signature) called track and sync. watch that video, even though it's talking about tracking and sync'ing in nuendo, the principle is the same for whatever DAW you have.

Did you go to the Global options on sonar? If not, go there and check the midi output box. Then go to the mpc and go to the midi screen and check the mmc control "on". After this is done you can press the space bar on the keyboard it should start it.

I've had problems with Sonar 4. When I try to sync it with my MPC to track my beats, it crashes on me. Let me know if you get it to work with the MPC as the master.

yo i searched the book and the machine for about a hour now... lol looking for mmc cannot find it could you tell me where please
