Super deal on MPC1000

Apparently VST has MPC1000's for $925 plus an extended warranty, a free gig bag, free shipping, and you can get free memory from the akai website. They also told me the hard drive kits should be available in 2-3 weeks for $25, or the kits plus a drive for $110, $120 installed.

there is a free newspaper that they give away near the bathroom in the manhattan GC. i didnt get it there but ironically they have it there. in that paper was an ad from some store in chinatown selling the 1k for $799. GC does the price match thing. boom - $799. i added an extended warranty for $100 or something and it still came out cheaper than it usually costs. and i got the free RAM too but that is expired by now i think
