Time shift earlier/later

Does anyone know if there is a time shift option to place a note earlier/later, my mpc 2000 does have it in the same screen you can set your swing amount but I cant find it on my mpc1000.

NOPE!


...but you can go to SEQ EDIT (mode + pad13) and then MOVE indiviual tracks early and late as you please.

punckdrunk said it striaght! its a shame cause i liked that most about my XL!

is this being fixed at all in the new OS? I read on the OS post that it does have note shift but i am unclear as to how they will implement it. I played around with the MPC2500 and it does have this feature ala MPC3000 60 and 2000. So hopefully it will be fixed. That is one of the only reasons I still rock my 3000...

where on the 2500 is this feature. what screen and what exactly is it called?

It would be in the SEQ Edit page in the EVENTS page...Edit: Note Shift...
