Yeah that sounds like a different problem. The limit to the number of files in a folder (which I don't even know for sure if there is) was more likely what inghe was having problems with.

Your case *might* be a bad CF card, they do wear out too. I usually (once a week or so) backup the contents of my CF card to the computer. Digital stuff only really exists if it's in two places at the same time ;-)

so how do u back up all your sequences? i know how to back up my programs but what about my sequeces. i dont think i have any programes that can read the fl card.

you may want to re word your question because this sounds like..... i don't know.

but to answer the question in the words that you used.... you back up your sequences like you back up your programs. just copy it from the CF card and put it on your computer. the term "Back up" just means to make a copy of it so it can be stored somewhere. and only the mpc can read .seq files
