Please help with Draging Samples to the MPC1000

So i do everything right with getting the samples to my MPC ,and when i load my samples up on the pads if i hit the pads i can hear them but when i go to record, the samples that loaded wont play back ,when i load the stock samples in ,that the mpc came with if i record those they play back fine, its just the samples that i loaded from my computer that wont play back...please help,

they have to be wav format with out anything else attached in the file, and you have to assign them to the pads
