The release of the Black 1K holds the key to the release date of OS 2.0 :?

WHY DOES IT MATTER?
they are both going to have the same innards, so they're the same, both the same functionality, and they can both be updated to v2.0

nah, that's on cowbell's side. he probably reached the limit of bandwidth on the server where he has his pictures on.

The new black MPC 1000 can be seen in the 2005 Akai product brochure. You can call up Akai and have one sent to your home for FREE...
