pads n tracks

i havent owned an mpc in a while and i was considering getting a 1000 but had some questions. one was, can you put diferent pds through different outs or diferent tracks? what i mean is, lets say you are laying down the kick and snare at the same time. how can you separate them so they each have there own track, or cant you? thanx for any help.....

yup, sure can...thankfully...you can record em in and then delete certain pads only, leaving just your snares alone with the stroke of 2 or 3 buttons.
