aww thats who you talkin bout,but naw man aint never heard it all but i will tell you this i would've never known that if you didnt tell me, and thats the thing i am bout to get into mixing i just put my ram in last night i really need to learn the basics bout mixing and eq thats why i used the mixouts cause at the studio i needed the engineer to "mix" everything cuz ima newbie at that you know this mix ish really all im bout to be on fora while,hutch

havent even touched em.

thepillage, you can record 2 tracks at the same time by panning one hard left and the other hard right. i do the same way you do and it takes forever. this cuts back your time by half.

i usually have upwards of like 30-40 tracks i need to record, so this was a lifesaver.

my example for u dont need to do dat **** is the champion sound album. the whole joint was 2 tracked and overdubbed for lyrics.

setting levels in the mpc isn't exactly what i would call mixing. I prefer to run my sounds through my outboard gear once tracked out to my mac.

Guess it all depends how lo or hi fi you are trying to get with your productions.

I've mixed a few songs that were laid over 2 track beats and believe me, they would have sounded 10x hotter if i was able to tweak every sound track by track.
