Has anyone noticed...

That the MPC1000 forum is the most immature of the Tutor site? I'm not sure why that is but there seems to be a lot of bickering and self ego rubbing arount this forum. I know it exists in the others as well but it seems to be a little more pronounced here. I wonder what phenomenon has lead to that. I hope I won't be flamed as I didn't name names but just a small observation.

Come on you guys, just chill out. If someone is pee-ing you off by making inflamatory coments just ignore it - its not worth egging them on, they'll get bored eventualy and maybe even grow up.

So Roopesh, what exactly does some playground argument about who you work with/for/make tea for have to do with the MPC?

I cant believe you wrote 39 lines of text in one thread expressly to slag off everybody who isn't you!!! You must be extremely insecure.
Have you considered why your name doesn't even appear on your 'crew's' web site?

Oh, and why does your profile list you as a music student if you are such a telented and world beating programmer. Maybe I should drop a line to Rishi Rich and ask if he's actually heard of you.

Ok, maybe we should all bury the hatchet. the important thing is that you yourself like the stuff you work on. That gives it all the validity it could ever need. And if someone else likes it as well that's even better.

I am certain that everyone on this forum will be doing something that I could enjoy or appreciate in one way or another. I lookforward to reading posts about new and different ways the MPC is being used from the bedroom programmers right up to the seasoned pros.

I think it's because you have lot's of new musicians who are looking to purchase the 1000, myself included. Droppin' $875 is alot less riskier thank $3,000+. I'm not sayin' that all of them are younger, but the majority are. Hopefully all of this bickering and fighting will subside so we can start helping each other with our new toy.

yea i agree.. how bout a donation driven members only mpc 1000 forum.. akai should actually sponsor something.. (at least IMHO).. you think mpc3k would be up to it? i see the mpc2000xl site and the 3000 site, are we slated to have our machines own site?? thatd be nice.. and i do agree with the cat above who said maybe it has something do with price.. bro.. it has everything to do with price.. but i bet the majority has to do with M-A-T-U-R-I-T-Y.. which may be missing in some of us.. anyways.. keep tappin
