I Have a sandisk 256mb card and have programs in my autoload folder but when i go and turn the mpc1000 on it does not load up all the programs it stops sometimes after 3 programs sometimes after 5.i noticed that it seems to do it mostly when my mpc is cold. When i let it warn up then turn it on.most of the time it loads up everything.Btw i contacted akai and they said to make sure i have a type 2 cf card.i have type 2.Do u people think it would be cause by that. and when i want all the files loaded up without waiting for it to warm up.I just turn on and whatever it does not load up i load up manually.but i always have to pop the cf card out after like 3 or 4 programs i load. Help

man i used to have a sandisk 256 and that thing was the worst. it would always stop halfway between loading and saving. i would have to try it 2 or 3 times to get it to work. i got a hagawara card and never had another problem. those sandisk are really the bottom of the barrel dude. u should try the akai card just to make sure but i would say deff. get a better card and leave that thing to pictures or watever.

that's funny you should say that. sandisk is all i use. i have a 2gb, 1gb, 512 and 64 sandisk. the only other type of cards that i have is the one that came with the mpc and the free one from akai.

i've never had a problem with any of them.

i guess it's possible you got a 'bad' card though i'd have thought it would have been checked before it was packaged.
