Losing MIDI control msgs in step editing mode / seq edit

OK i punched my 1k last night when it did this for the third time in a row.

I was adding MSB, LSB and program changes via step edit to access the XG sounds on my CS1x, once i had set this up i tried to copy, via Seq edit, "all events" in the track to a new track, (i was going to then edit the MSB,LSB,program for a new sound bank and program) but only the notes from the track were copied, when i went back into the original track the control changes had vanished and only the notes were there, the view option for the Step edit was "all events", this happend a few times in a row before i lost my temper.

I have used mod wheel, pan, volume, previously, and these save/copy in step edit with no problem, difference for the above is the MSB/LSB control change for XG sound bank select.

Has anyone seen this behavior before when adding the control changes events into step edit and then copying the tracks??

so nobody sequencing for an XG sound module on the 1000?
