Whats good fam, my question was like for example, right now i got a beat goin and i got a program opened up. But my beat only uses about 32 out of the 64 samples that are opeaned up. Since i only have 16megs of memeory i need to be conservitive of sample space so how do i remove those samples im not using in the current beat so i can record some new sounds in or bring them in thru usb. Thanks

go to program, and discard. it will discard all samples that are not used/assigned to any pads

do you mean go to program do you mean hit mode and pad 7 and then where do i go

By kingquota Tue Jan 17, 2006 10:13 pm
yeah, see PURGE in the corner?

press mode, then pad 7

then PURGE in the corner.

remember it will delete any samples that you do not have assigned to samples.

if you want to delete samples invididually - you can do so from the trim menu, just highlight the sample name with data wheel, then press the lit up 'window' key and select delete

just be carefull, you dont want to erase the wrong thing.

good luck, post your track when your done,

oh, you shoul dgive the manual a read, i know manuals suck, but alot of this stuff is writen in there. just bring it with you on a car ride, or read it bbefore bed or something. i still carry one with me and stil learn stuff from it.

Okay, i can't stand it any longer.....
... go to PROGRAM (mode+pade 7), choose PURGE on the right and it will delete all samples not assigned to the program.

I like your 16 mb is enough attitude
EDIT: you beat me Quota :)

look in the sticky at the top of the 1k section on CF cards and RAM. look to see what everyone is using and do an internet search for the best price.
