"$110 for 128 MB!!!?? THAT is insanity. No way."
Let's see, the first time I ever bought a memory expansion, I got 256kb for $200. If I had to buy 128 meg of that, it would have cost me over $100,000. The second time I bought a memory expansion, it was $50 for 1 Meg. For 128Meg that would have been $6,400. To expand the MPC3000 when it first came out was about $300. To expand the MPC2000 when it came out was well over $200 and that was with standard memory.
I really cannot believe I am hearing complaints about a paultry $100 to get 128 Meg. Even with the cost of the EXM the MPC1000 is still much cheaper than the MPC2000XL. Jeez, go get a life.
