The MPC1000 BK

When will it be possible to buy one? Will it be more expensive? Are there more differences than only the colour?

in about two weeks to a month my guess nope aint difference and i think its a lil bit more cant be sure though just your neighborhood gear shop

The black comes standard with 128MB, the blue doesn't.
If you live in the US you could get a free 128MB card by sending a proof of purchase to Akai: http://akaipro.com/pdf/AkaiEXM128.pdf
This was valid till 12-31-05, i'm not sure if they will extend that offer.

A friend put that on my desk today at my job since I just got one. It was supposed to be postmarked by 01/15. What the hell I am sending it anyways. I got nothing to loose. Wish I knew about this when I purchased it around Xmas time. :evil:

I ordered mine thru VST just before New Years.. came with the memory and HDM-10 pre-installed.. plus that gay-ass "MPCMan" bag (can't walk around Harlem wit that..) and a hat and AKAI Professional t-shirt... MAD freebies.
