compatability question between MPC2000XL and MPC1000

so i bought an MPC1000 for my live shows.......I've always used the MPC2000XL for my live set-up, but needed to downsize.......my question is this:

I have my set saved onto two separate Zip drives.....does anyone know if it's possible to find a USB Zip Drive, and just load up my 2000XL files from the Zip Disks I already have? any help would be greatly appreciated......

the usb is only for PC

you can save all your s h i t off the 2kxl ( the prg and samples ) make sure the samples are .wav

then load them up in the compact flash card

pop it into a 1k

or put a Hard drive in your 1000 and just copy the zip disks onto the hard drive... or you could just use the compact flash cards

with o.s. 2.1 the MPC1000 will read your programs and .SND sound files. No .ALL files though.
