Hi Gang,
Is it possible to time strech a sample when slaving the MPC1000 by syncing to midi clock frm another unit with a different tempo value? ex. if the sample has 120.0 and i am sending 80.0 i would like the sample to time stretch and sync without being cutoff.
thanx

i don;t exaclty understand, but I don;t think you can timestretch to match the BPM of another unit, just copy the BPM into the timestretch screen!

timestrech on the mpc1000 is not a real time operation you'd have to time stretch your sample first to match the tempo of your sequence.

thought if you convert your loop to a patch phrase that's something you could do in real time but that wouldn't be timestretch.

yeeeaaah :)
