LFO's different from manual description?

According to the manual from Akai's support site, the LFO's are supposed to be able to affect pitch, filter, level and pan settings...

However, on my MPC's LFO's I'm able to affect pitch, filter 1, level, and filter 2 (instead of pan).
Has anyone else noticed this or is it just my MPC that's strange?

Mine is the same as yours.

yep i've noticed that as well but i guess that since they also added tempo sync for the flying pan in the FX section, that you don't really need that feature anymore in the LFO section.

that's because you set your LFO rate to be too slow, try some value below 1

that's because they're so slow.

And because 1 is the fastest setting, and anything higher is too slow to hear without a long note.

Is there any way to spped them up, they sound ok, but wow are they slow.

Yeah, the rate unit is like beat notation. So 4 is a bar, 1 is a 1/4 note, 0.48 is an 1/8 note and so on. Delay uses the same unit system...
