yeah i would be upgrading to a 02rack hopfully sometime this year but i need to get a control interface first which im thinking of getting the command/8

Just out of curiosity (I dont have a control surface), what's the advatage of a control surface such as the command8 producin' wise?...wonderin'..

in the case where you don't have a hardware mixer, or you just work a lot on computers, and you miss the tactile feeling of mixing with physical faders. however a large number of these control surfaces have other functions too, such as undo/redo, VSTi control etc.
So basically, if you use your computer a lot for producing, seriously invest in a control surface, because that way, you get the best of both worlds!
