use 1000 as sound module

Now that i have a 40gb hard drive would it be possible to use the mpc1000 as a sound module for bass sounds for hip hop and rnb music. if so how would i go about this as i would want the bass to last as long as i press the pad how would i do this?

You have to loop your sounds well. And play with the envelopes.
