I put Crucial 144pin sodimm pci 133 CL2 ram and the mpc 1000 says os not found. What the heck is going on? All you have to do is install the ram and turn it on right? Just want to make sure before I take the ram back and loose a 15 dollars re stock fee :x

Man, it sounds like maybe a different problem.... weird that the ram would cause that. Did it report the ram correctly ever? Did you try the MPC Reset (holding erase while you boot it up, i think?) I'd try all that b4 u send that ram back.

^^^co-sign that. when i copped my ram off ebay and installed it, shyt didn't read at all, but the reset worked for me. try that before sending and paying to have it put back onn the shelf. peace

lol you missed it bro... a couple posts back.... I think you hold down the ERASE key while you power up the MPC.
