mpc-1000 pads

I finally touched one at a gc around here and noticed how tight the pads on the 1k are compared to the 2k or any other mpc. Is this a problem for anyone or do they loosen up over time. It just didnt feel the same hitting the 1k as it does on a 2k.

i guess the do seem a little bit tighter. But mine are starting to break in a lil. im starting to like the feel of the 1000's pads a little bit better.

awesome...I was alittle worried but the 1k is built like a tank, i was impressed so im sure they will loosen up.

Thought I should add another bit people might not know:

The 1000's pads are more responsive to velocity than the 2000 (you can actually hit 127s manually!!!) and are actualy sensitivity-adjustable!

thanks man thats good info...i always hated slamming the 2k to get the velocity.

i love the new pads on the 1k. read the review i posted a few days ago.
