issues with tempo change in song mode

Hi guys,

I have a problem. I've made a bunch of sequences using a slightly different tempo for each sequence (varying from 60 BPM to 70 BPM). In addition I have added occasionally tempo change information inside a few sequences (so that during the sequence the tempo increases then goes back top normal).
Tempo change, for those who don't know, is expressed in percentage (increment/decrement), not in absolute value (you don't set the tempo to a given value...). Hence problems.

Now, I have organised the sequences in a song, and when I convert to song the tempo information is all wrong. The MPC don't generate any tempo change when two consecutive sequences have different tempo, and the fact that the sequences in the song are at different tempi goes apparently unnotioced (duh? strange). The sequence generated by the conversion is set to the tempo of the first seq in the song and that's it. The tempo changes I'd inserted in the original sequences are preserved, but tehy don't work well beacuse they apply to the wrong tempo.
Is there a way out of this shintz?

I need to convert the song to a sequence because I want to be able to apply master eq and compression to my track. These are n ot accessable in song mode.

Yeah, some things don't work anymore after converting a song into a sequence, same with track info (midi channels and stuff).
Do you need to tweak the master EQ and compression during playback? Cause i believe they still function when playing a song (you're right about not being able to access their parameters).

this is only when you convert your song to a sequence, though, right? forgive me if i'm missing something, i'm in a huge rush.
