How do "you" setup your programs???

Do you put kicks with kicks??? Or do u mix it up?

Also...when you are about to use a sample do u try to pick and choose your kit on the comp??? Or do u jus load all ov' ur kits???

Just load a pgm, or set a sample under a pad. Very simple 2 do btw, just read the manual.

Personally I use a program to combine different kick/snare/hat etc into a drum kit that sounds good.

But the 'many kicks collection' idea would also be good to try.

I got all my shit broke out; kicks, snares, hh, fx, toms, etc. as for samples i usually try to use the initials of the artist for a folder name then dump my samples there

wuntu i gotta tell you though - these kits are NOT gonna be good enough if you just use em as is. you gotta layer em with good thumping kicks (electronic ones do nicely, like a downpitched 909) so they really THUMP on you. otherwise it's gonna sound like you're producing accoustic rock...and i doubt you want that!

these are all yours, under the condition that you tweak em according to what song you're working on! you can get close with the now infamous nym drumkits, but you most definitely still have to work hard to make em fit. i just cut out some of the busywork for you.

No doubt ant, I check the drumkits out and I noticed they were wack...lol I didn't save them anyway.
