LOADING PROGRAMS INTO BLUE BOX

Hey whats up guys,
Just hoping that some one here could explain to me in english about how to open existing programs that were made using my mpc in blue box. I dont know if the "file not found" error keeps appearing because the programs were not created in blue box or not. And of course I read the manual before posting so no need for the sarcastic remarks. If someone could please help I would greatly appreciate it...Thx

when you saved your pgm on the mpc, did you save with samples? if not, it will just save the location of each sample not the actual sample itself.

But however once the program is loaded(which I end up doing sucessfully) the samples that were alreay assigned to specific pads are not showing or heard once auditioned in blue box. My fear was that if I assign these new samples to (ex: bank B) that the existing samples in bank A would be deleted once I save my project because they are not being recognized. I hope I am clear on this....Basically I had a couple of samples already assigned and my goal was once I downloaded some new drums was to finish filling up my program on the other blank pads. Do you know why my already existing samples are not showing..? , and if I save the modified program(using blue box) will it erase those existing samples?

ok, here's the thing. (i've done this successfully all the time... making a pgm on the mpc and opened it in bluebox)


when you save your pgm on the mpc, it has to be saved in a new folder then save with samples. otherwise, your samples are just all over the CF card or HD. if you do it the way i just stated, everything will be in that folder so when you open the pgm in bluebox, your samples are right there with the pgm file.

Little confused on how to create a folder for my programs here Sparq. Im reading the manual now as we speak but it only mentions creating a autoload folder....Im pretty sure that this is something that is easy as 123 but if you dont know where to look....it could take for ever to say the least..Little advise please..

Alright I found it man so dont worry about the reply...I will post up in a few about how it works.

I went to save programs and samples in the mpc and created a new folder and them hooked up my usb and opened blue box to try to load my "hard hits program" from my new folder but still got the same file not found error. Now I am completely lost....I created a folder, saved all my programs and samples into that folder, but still getting the file not found error when I load a particular program from my new folder, which I called Program Folder...definitely need your help on this one man cause I have the slightest clue!

here's what i do.

1 open blue box
2 copy the folder from my cf card to my desktop on my pc the folder has all the wave files and the most important thing (the .pgm file) all inside it
like this

3 go back to bluebox and load this program in...
4 job done, you can now edit and sort out the program...

I followed this step exactly and even checked the folder once it was copied to my desktop to see the wave files...I draged and droped the folder into the blue box..."file not found" .....Then I opened blue box and tried importing the file..."file not found" I then went to import and tried to import my folder..."file not found"......God lee!!!!! has there been any known bugs or problems like this before with blue box? I mean should I try downloading it again? Hell I even called Akai's tech support and spoke with someone who advise me to try this same method and even walked me threw on how to save my programs into folders on the mpc...Correct me if Im wrong, but to save my program to a folder on the mpc shouldnt I.... 1. load only that program(kicks) 2. go to save menu and select "save all programs and samples"....? (keep in mind I only loaded one program so there is nothing else loaded but my kick program)....Please argh!!!!!!! this is taking up so much creative time.....
