Mute Groups ?

excuse my bad english, i am from germany, but this is really the only place you can expect help.

does somebody know if mute groups refer to a sequence or a program / track?

i have for example some hi hats on track1 with mutegroup=1 and on track 2 some pads with mutegroup=1 will they mute each other ?

i hope someone understood what i mean : )

i'm pretty sure it's sequence, but i don't know. test it and tell us!

Mute groups only mute each other if they are in the same program.
Don´t worry about mute group 1 in your drum program will mute the pads assigned to mute group 1 in your bass program.
Pads assigned to the same mute group within one program will cut each other off even if the pads are recorded to different tracks.
