If u had a choice to own either a Mpc4000 or a MPC1000 and ASR-10 Combo what would u prefer?

i own a mpc4000 and just bought a ASR-10 yesturday for 289$ so im debating what to do?

you have the 4k and the ASR then your done,unless you want the 1k. but if you don't have this combo , then yeah get the 4k and ASR-10. Great combo I had the ASR-10 ,it would work with either the 4k or 1k. 8)

i have a mpc4000 and i bought a ASR-10 for 289$ yesturday.

only reason i would sell the mpc4000 is to have the money to buy a Black mpc1000 for sequencing.Roland XV-5080 For my Sounds and ASR-10 for Sampling

I use a ASR/MPC combo. I have used it with my 4k and my 1k. I do find the 1k to be easier to use with the ASR due to the lack of several options, lack of midi functions like the 4k and just ease of use. All you have to is set your ASR up for multi mode and sample away. Also don't sleep on using the MPC for drums. Yeah the ASR is a better sampler, but make your kits on your ASR and sample them into the MPC. You never know when you just wanna go stright MPC and you don't wanna turn on the ASR just for some drums.
