LFOs Working?

For some reason, I cannot figure out how to modulate my filters with the LFOs. I go into the LFO edit page in the PROGRAM and tweek all the parameters, but I cannot hear it affecting the filter at all. Am I doing something wrong?

set it to a rate less than 1.

try on "long" sounds, long basses, pads.... if you can't hear it you've got probably a problem...

LFO means Low Frequency Oscillator, it´s an oscillator that oscillates at frequencies below the audible range. It´s used to modulate parameters in the sounds signal path, for example it could modulate the volume to create a vibrato at moderate depth and a tremolo at full depth. In the MPC 1000 it can modulate volume, both filters and the pitch.
Even though it´s not as flexible and versatile on the MPC as it is in most synths and dedicated samplers it´s a nice addition to the machine which can, if used properly, inject a lot of life in static samples

The results I've been getting lately syncing LFO's from my synths have been phenominal. Especially, when you can do it to 2 LFO's & both are syncing different cycle times to the MPC MIDI clock.

example:
LFO1-restarting every 8th note
LFO2-quarter note etc....
