Anyway to mix through midi on an mpc?

Ok, i just got my mpc accouple of days ago. I have this m-audio X-Session controller that i never use. It just has a bunch of knobs basically. Is there any way i could use this to control my mix functions an mpc?




Also, one more quick question...In trim mode, how do you make the increments bigger so when you use the data wheel, it's not change in .001 increments?

mr modnar on some tech support type sh!t....you should move to india and get on a telephone. work for microsoft so when i call em up, you can talk in a hindi accent.

in trim mode, instead of using the data wheel, you can also use the q-link sliders. but for extremely fine incrments, you still have to use the data wheel.

The data wheel is my favorite part of the MPC.

Exactly, i can never get things right with the q-sliders alone. And pardon my "newbieism". I'm sure i could have figured it out anyway but i was more concerned about my original question.

All you do is hold down the "after" button and move the slider. Simple as that.

yeah, we get silly like that.

you could use the midi controller [post MPC] but you'd have to run a soft sampler with your DAW, something like battery, copy ya samples used from MPC to PC, record MIDI data[sequences] to your DAW then use MIDI controller to further tweak MIDI information/MIDI plugs...actually would be far more flexible, but not many ppl are interested in this process I don't think as it can be a lil involved
