I don't know ANYONE who's never heard a Primo beat. Even my moms has heard a Premier beat, I force it on their ears... maybe he doesn't know that a beat he loves or a song that is deemed a classic by everyone including him is produced by Primo but I am sure he has heard one. A better way to say it might have been "I am not sure of any tracks that I heard that DJ Premier produced". You never heard "so ghetto" by Jay Z or any Gangstarr songs or any of Jeru the Damaja's songs of his first two LP's or you never heard "Batman and Robin" on Snoop Doggy Dogg's last LP or... I am getting tired of typing a recent discography kids... I'm out!

"Anyone actually use ReCycle with an MPC?"

I do. The MPCEditor imports AKP files exported by Recycle and maps the samples across the pads that match the generated midi file from Recycle2. The same Reycle Import has been recently added to the new MPC1000 Program Creator.

A question for MPC3000 - What is this mpc1000 program creator? How much is it & where can I buy it or read more about it? I did a google search on the net for it, but found nothing.

Search MPC3000's posts. He's told us where it is at and some of the guys here (MPC3K and others) don't like to repeat themselves a lot...which is understandable considering the amount of help they've already provided us.

Search his stuff and maybe use the keyword (if memory serves me right) "midicase". He has his own site which you need to explore!

peace,
