Transfering beats to computer

I was looking in the book about resampling output but Im still confused. Do I need another peice of equipment to transerfer tracks to computer. How would I change my tracks(Instruments through out the beat) when tranfering. Are they resampled through the outputs on the back of the MPC. Then how would I get it to the computer.

How much time do you spend exploring the Akai MPC1000? The reason i ask is because i come in here alot and I see Dominique for a bunch of threads dats started.
