Are these correct.

I wanted to make sure before I placed a bid. Also how do you format the hard drive. Also how do you check to see if the Hard drive is recongized by the MPC 1000.

I have a 60GB version of the Seagate Momentus that works fine in my 1K.

Before I bought my HD I looked at this thread Sparq kicked off :

... you might wanna search through that too before buying anything.

You can format the HD on the MPC using the utility option in Load or Save mode (one of them ). If the HD is recognized you'll see it listed in those modes too as an available load/save medium ... in the same field where you currently choose from either Internal memory or CF.
