i've been trying to do this in 'Seq Edit'...then i go to 'Move'...then hit the snare pad and then go to the 'tick' number...and then place the number 26 in there (as 25's are where snares normally fall on 1/16th quant beats).

press 'do it'...

play back the sequence and the drums complety mess up.

the kicks go missing.

whats wrong.

all i want to do is move may 'snares' later in the pattern by 1 or 2 ticks.

Have you tried selecting 1 tick? 26-25=1

I would.

its not that easy.

the 2000xl is much easier for this.

Not that easy?

All I did was go into Seq Edit, select Move, increased the Start: value one tick and hit Do It. The select pads all got moved one tick. This is right out of the MPC3000, MPC2000, MPC2000XL, MPC1000 manuals so it is something that has been around for some time.

That's the solution I've been looking for. I tried what you said MPC3000 but
nothing really happened apart from another bar being created in the loop.
